Senior Consultant Surgeon specialising in keyhole (minimally invasive) hernia surgery, from straightforward groin hernias to complex incisional and recurrent hernias, and in hiatus hernia and reflux surgery.

Dr Kan Yuk Man is the Director and Founder of KYM Surgery. He graduated in the United Kingdom and trained in international units focused on keyhole surgery, with further training in Japan and Australia.
He regularly operates on hernias in adults and children, from simple groin hernias to complex incisional and recurrent hernias, and is regularly invited to teach hernia surgery techniques at workshops in the region. He is also trained in the surgical treatment of acid reflux (gastro-oesophageal reflux disease) and hiatus hernia.
He uses keyhole techniques wherever they are suitable, which for most patients means smaller scars, less pain and a quicker return to normal activities. Where open surgery is the better option, he will explain why.
Inguinal hernias, on one or both sides, and femoral hernias, by keyhole or open repair.
